First, let me be clear. Teaching is good and people learning is great. Also, the individuals who I personally know have a passion for teaching all had good character. There is still a downside to hiring a social media teacher or learning from a social media “class”.
What happens when a lawyer hires a social media teacher:
- You have to spend time learning something.
- Then you have to spend time on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram implementing actions.
- Then you have to spend time creating content for those different channels. Creation of content includes writing, editing, reviewing, and publishing for each of your separate channels.
- Then you have to interact with different people on the channel because it is a social media channel.
- Then you have to be patient and wait for results. Then you have to analyze those results to figure out what is the best option for your company.
- Then you have to sit and wait for people to contact you.
Those Steps Above Would Take The Time of a Full-Time Job!
But don’t make social media your full-time job (being a lawyer is more fun). Remember your most valuable asset is time. Our purpose is to help you not spend your valuable time on social media because you should be spending your time performing services for clients.
