Finding leads through face-to-face interactions is the oldest way to generate business and it has been working for thousands of years.  This is why being part of a referral network can be very valuable.

It is ten times easier to sell a referral than it is to sell a cold client.  This is how attorney referral services can be so valuable.  I am in a Managed Joint Venture Referral Network where each partner understands that I am the marketing specialist for attorneys.  This means that I am able both to serve any attorneys who come into the Managed Joint Venture and I am also able to provide any of those attorneys with referral leads if they are part of the Managed Joint Venture.
